Mental health support
should not be a privilege
MindCare exists because millions of people who need mental health support aren't getting it — not because they don't want help, but because the system makes it too hard to access.
"We believe that consistent, accessible mental health support — delivered at the right moment, in the right format — can change the trajectory of a person's life."
The mental health gap is real
The numbers tell a story that should be impossible to ignore. These are not statistics — they are people.

Our approach to mental wellness
Four principles inform every decision we make — from feature design to data architecture.
AI-Powered, Human-Centred
Our AI companion Sunnie uses advanced language models guided by psychoeducation principles. AI augments human connection — it does not replace it. When crisis signals are detected, we immediately connect users to real help.
Evidence-Based Methods
Every therapeutic tool in MindCare is grounded in clinical research. CBT-informed journaling, DBT emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness-based stress reduction — we build features that have genuine clinical evidence behind them.
Radically Accessible
MindCare is designed for blind, deaf, and motor-impaired users with full voice navigation, screen reader support, high-contrast mode, and captioning. Financial access matters too — core features are and will remain free.
Private by Design
Mental health data is among the most sensitive personal information in existence. We encrypt everything, share nothing without explicit consent, and never monetise your health data. Your story is yours.
What we stand for
Human Dignity
Every person who uses MindCare deserves to be treated with respect and without judgment. Mental health struggles are not weaknesses — they are part of being human. We design every interaction with this truth at its centre.
Scientific Rigour
We make no claims we cannot support with evidence. Our tools are grounded in peer-reviewed research and clinical practice. We are transparent about what our AI can and cannot do, and we are honest when an issue requires professional care.
Equitable Access
Geography, income, and ability should not determine whether a person can access mental health support. MindCare is built to work across devices, connectivity levels, and abilities — and our pricing reflects this commitment.
When to seek immediate help
MindCare is not a crisis service
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or needs urgent mental health intervention, please contact a crisis line or emergency services right away. MindCare's AI companion is not monitored in real time and cannot dispatch emergency services.
Why we built this
MindCare was built in 2024 by a team who had experienced first-hand what it feels like to struggle with mental health while navigating university life — and to find the available support either inaccessible, inadequate, or frightening to approach.
We believed technology could do better. Not by replacing therapists — there is no substitute for a trained clinician — but by closing the gap between the moment someone first struggles and the moment they first seek help.
MindCare is our answer to that gap. A daily companion. A private journal. A breathing coach. A reminder that you are not alone — and that help, in all its forms, is within reach.
